one. pick a journal, make sure it involves your characters name! also, make a screen name on AIM. In someway, they must have your characters first or last name so that we know who they are. Be creative. Don’t use a billon x’s, o’x or _’s in your journal name. You will not be added if you do.

two. do not cross OOC and IC, ever. don't even blur the lines! because someone does something to your character while you are IC, does not mean you have to lash out at the person OOC. if i find out this has happened, even once, then you will be removed without a warning.

three. all mature storylines must be approved by a mod, no exceptions! if approved they must be played out in a mature, realistic manner. what that means is-- if you have a pregnancy line then it will be lasting 9 months in real time. also-- divorces don't happen over night and addictions don't fix themselves. DO THE RESEARCH!

four. slash is allowed, but be realistic. two men cannot have a baby together. if every guy that comes into the community starts to be gay, we will cut it off. same goes for the ladies, if every girl is a lesbian-- we'll cut that off too!

five. have a friends only post up before you apply and in the subject line be sure to put the name of the community, either in link form or just text. also; please advertise us as much as you can in [info]rpg_ads and such!

six. update once every four weeks! can't do that? then PM a mod about a hiatus or extension. when making your updates make sure they're a good two paragraphs or more before you post. you don't need a novel, but you do need a decent update. NO PLACEHOLDERS!

seven. post a intro within 48 hours of being added in [info]starbrite! either do this, or be overriden. it's that simple.

eight. before you apply you'll need a first post! a first post should show us your character's personality, some basic facts about them, and they should talk a little about their career. please friends lock this post!

nine. remember to add this journal to your friends list before you apply.
